Render Jobs and Queue System
Understanding how Tintage processes your video renders and manages the queue system.
What Are Render Jobs?
A render job is a request to create a video from one of our templates with your custom content. When you customize a template and click "Export," you create a render job that gets processed by our video generation system.
Each render job includes:
Your chosen template (composition)
Your custom text, colors, and assets
Export settings (resolution: 720p, 1080p, or 4K Ultra HD; format: MP4, MOV, or ProRes)
Processing status and progress
Credit System
📖 For complete credit system information, see our Credits System Guide
How Credits Work
Tintage uses a dual-credit system with two types of credits:
Monthly Credits (from your subscription) - Reset every month, used first
Purchased Credits - Additional credits you buy, last 1 year, used second
Credit Costs
Render jobs consume credits based on output resolution. For current pricing information, visit our pricing page.
Credit Consumption Priority
Credits are consumed in this order to maximize your value:
Monthly credits first - These expire monthly, so we use them first
Purchased credits second - These last longer, so we preserve them
Credit Balance Requirements
Before starting a render, ensure your team has sufficient credits:
Check your balance at https://tintage.com/usage
Insufficient credits will prevent you from starting new renders
Current pricing available at https://tintage.com/pricing
Credit Refunds
Credits are automatically refunded in these situations:
Failed renders - Technical errors or processing failures
Cancelled renders - When you manually cancel a job
Timed-out renders - Jobs that exceed processing time limits
System cleanup - Emergency maintenance or server restarts
Note: Successfully completed renders do not receive credit refunds as the service has been delivered.

How the Queue System Works
Team-Based Processing
All render jobs are organized by your team account. This means:
Each team has its own render queue
Team members share the same render limits
All team members can view the team's render jobs
Render Limits
Your team has a concurrent render limit based on your subscription plan:
Standard
2 renders at a time
1080p Full HD
Plus
4 renders at a time
4K Ultra HD
Pro
8 renders at a time
4K Ultra HD
Max
12 renders at a time
4K Ultra HD
What this means:
You can have multiple renders processing simultaneously up to your limit
Additional renders wait in queue until a slot becomes available
Completed renders free up slots for queued jobs
Job Status Tracking
Every render job goes through these stages:
1. Queued
What it means: Your job is waiting to start processing
What you see: "Queued" status in your dashboard
What happens next: Job moves to rendering when a slot opens
2. Rendering
What it means: Our servers are actively creating your video
What you see: "Rendering" status with progress updates
Typical duration: 2-10 minutes depending on template complexity
3. Uploading
What it means: Your completed video is being prepared for download
What you see: "Uploading" status
What happens next: Download link becomes available
4. Completed
What it means: Your video is ready for download
What you see: Download button and preview
Action needed: Download your video (links expire after 30 days)
5. Failed
What it means: Something went wrong during processing
What you see: Error message with details
What to do: Try again or contact support if the issue persists
6. Cancelled
What it means: You or a team member cancelled the job
What you see: "Cancelled" status
Note: You can only cancel jobs that haven't completed yet
Managing Your Render Queue

Recent Jobs: History of completed and failed renders
Cancelling Jobs
You can cancel render jobs that are queued or currently rendering:
Find the job in your render queue

Best Practices
Optimize Your Workflow
Plan ahead: Start renders early if you have deadlines
Batch similar jobs: Group similar templates to process efficiently
Monitor your queue: Check status regularly for any failed jobs
Avoid Common Issues
Don't exceed limits: Wait for renders to complete before starting many new ones
Check file sizes: Large assets may slow down processing
Verify templates: Preview your customizations before rendering
When Things Go Wrong
If a render job fails:
Check the error message - It often explains what went wrong
Verify your content - Ensure text fits properly and images are valid
Try again - Temporary server issues sometimes resolve themselves
Contact support - If problems persist, we're here to help
Troubleshooting Common Issues
"Team render limit reached"
Problem: You're trying to start more renders than your plan allows
Solution:
Wait for current renders to complete
Cancel unnecessary queued jobs
Consider upgrading your plan for higher limits
"Insufficient credits" error
Problem: Your team doesn't have enough credits to start a render
Solution:
Check your credit balance at https://tintage.com/usage
Wait for credit refunds from failed/cancelled renders
Purchase additional credit packs (last 1 year)
Wait for your next billing cycle when monthly credits reset
Consider upgrading your subscription plan for more monthly credits
Jobs stuck in "Rendering" status
Problem: A job has been rendering for over 30 minutes
Solution:
Check our status page for server issues
Contact support if the job appears stuck
Our system automatically fails jobs after 60 minutes
Credits will be automatically refunded for failed jobs
Download links not working
Problem: You can't download your completed video
Solution:
Refresh the page and try again
Check if the link has expired (30-day limit)
Re-render the job if the link is too old
